Research Interests

"It is perfectly true, as philosophers say, that life must be understood backwards. But they forget the other proposition, that it must be lived forwards...And if one thinks over the proposition it becomes more and more evident that life can never really be understood in time simply because at no particular moment can I find the necessary resting place from which to understand it -- backwards"

"C'est par la logique qu'on démontre, c'est par l'intuition qu'on invente." ("by logic we prove, by intuition invent")

[1st by Soren Kierkegaard, found in "Representation and Control of Infinite Dimensional Systems"], and [2nd by Henri Poincaré]

Working Fields

Test-Rig for Large-Scale and Interconnected Dynamical Systems: MTIDS - Matlab Toolbox for Interconnected Dynamical Systems (practical course, students: F. Llobet & J. Rivera)
